November 2008, Ymte abducts German Milan mascot
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Räderwerk Hannover, the Räderwerk team enjoyed the presence of several prominent visitors, including the godfather of the Quest velomobile and world champion Ymte Sijbrandij. He had arrived with his Quest and apparently enjoyed the performances of the Milan mascot "Snow White". Witnesses saw the two talking to each other several times in the VIP area. At an opportune moment, Ymte drove up with his Quest and picked up the diva. According to the Räderwerk team, this happened against her will. Despite hot pursuit, the Räderwerk team didn't manage to stop Ymte before reaching the Dutch border.
